6 Survival Tactics for 2019 (AI chatbot year)
From 1966 after a significant change in artificial intelligence by the invention of Eliza leads to the coining of a new term called “Chatbots”. In today’s market, most firms are going behind the chatbots believing the upcoming years will be an uprising year for chatbots. We believe that too but there are also some constraints we need to overcome. There is also a minor risk of technology leap people may move directly to augmented reality avoiding chatbots but on cost still, chatbots have some hope to shine on 2019.
Before starting, there are two kinds of chatbot solutions available as Platform as a Solution(PaaS), Software as a Solution(SaaS). PaaS solutions are widely available and SaaS are limited by data availability.
Ok, Let’s stop giving statements and start justifying.
Coupe with Technology Growth
We have already seen how fast technology is growing day by day. One day touch screens are at textbooks and another day it is in everyone hands (nope! We are not apple and definitely not Samsung). It clarifies that people are looking for new technology to slightly ease up their work and full of entertainment. Chatbots can be ultra satisfactory in that case. It can be used as a business tool for businesses. But according to the customer, a properly performing chatbot will be an entertaining one. They bring traffic to a website, it can act as a marketing representative and eventually a free form of advertisement as well. Every effort they put on the chatbots is going to pay up in upcoming 2019 as chatbots are now found on 4/10 websites. Early starters are taking revenue already.
In Order to capture the attention of a person, we have to show something interesting to them. A chatbot must be attractive and smart just like a boyfriend/girlfriend in order to engage a person more effectively. Conversation histories for at least 1 year sample is needed to make a bot to sound like a human. Images and videos within the chat conversation will be a value-adding feature. User should forget about time which is key to success of any user engagement.
A chatbot should recognize the personalities of a person in order to be convincing. For a marketing chatbot, this feature is important for closing a sale or making a deal. It may seem impossible but Sophia makes it possible. If it can now everyone can tomorrow.
People started to be a couch potato and chatbots should be designed in such a manner that it can recognize a user’s voice and can answer back without losing sync. This will bring a lot of changes in the industries like call centers, support, and sales outsourcing companies etc.
Time to self learn
Appending all occurrences of the particular question is impossible because everyone may have a different approach to a particular question. So a chatbot should be capable of self-learning multiple occurrences from a single intent. This may reduce the requirement of loads of intents. Less complication with your chatbot will definitely drive a number of the user to your website.
Sarcasm may work:
Removing the robot part from a chatbot is challenging and it fully the work of the content writer. A chatbot should sound natural and clear. A sarcastic bot will be enjoyed by the customers but professional will like a bot to be professional but customers don’t professionalism they but attractiveness.
Grammatical error solvency:
No one is perfect in grammar and chatbot functions fully based on grammar is a nightmare to the users. It should be flexible to answer the questions that are not required to be grammatically correct eg. h r u? is a popular shortcut for the how are you?. A chatbot should be able to identify it as how are you? And similar other cases.
